报告题目Australian Wool Research: CSIRO's Legacy for the Global Wool Industry
报告摘要From the late 1940s until 2005, a large program of wool research and development was conducted in Australia by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). This research was funded by a levy on the sales of Australian wool. This presentation reviews many of the CSIRO contributions to the wool industry, which were developed and commercialised as a result of this research. Many of these products and processes are still in widespread use in the modern wool textiles industry, particularly in China, which is now the dominant global manufacturer of wool textile products.
