My name is Shumail Farhan from Pakistan. I am pursuing a PhD degree from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU), Hangzhou 310018, PR China under the kind supervision of Prof./Dr.Jianjun Chen. Nowadays, I am taking online classes and working on a review article about "The Fabrication of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs)", as suggested by my respected supervisor.
I have completed MS (Physics) from the Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, Pakistan scoring 91% marks.During my Master’s study, I have been engaged in a research project entitled "A Thermodynamic and Electrochemical Study of Nickel-Doped Ceria Electrodes for the Direct Conversion of Natural Gas to Electricity using Solid Oxide Fuel Cells". I have recently published a research article entitled: "Co-doped cerium oxide Fe0.25-xMnxCe0.75O2-δ as a composite cathode material for IT-SOFC" (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jallcom.2022.164319) in the journal of Alloys and Compounds as a FIRST author.
Furthermore, I have submitted two research articles in an international Journals, and three are under process.
I have an excellent academic background and good research experience to perform experiments in the lab for the preparation of Nanocomposite materials.
I have worked on various instruments such as DC conductivity measurements with the 4 Probe method and Fuel cell testing Unit. I also have a good command of different characterization techniques, i.e. X-Ray Diffraction, Raman Spectroscopy, SEM, BET Analysis, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FT-IR, and AC Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. I have a strong grip over various software skills to present research outputs such as Origin, X’Pert High Score, HSC-Chemistry, MS office, and EndNote.
